Consider religion a gun, if you will. It takes someone to shoot that gun. Saying religion is the cause of war is like saying that guns alone can kill people. It takes human greed, human leaders out for their own gain. No war since biblical times has been truly fought in God's name, only men exploiting the power of religion.
